Andrew established Hunter Gardens in late 2016 upon relocating to South Manchester from London.
Having started his career working in carpentry and landscaping in his home town of Bath, Andrew moved to London to work as a foreman for an established landscape designer. After an inspiring two years in which he oversaw the delivery of over 20 landscaping projects with budgets ranging from £2,000-£25,000, Andrew set up his own company – Gardens of London – in 2013. Many of their designs can be found in the transformations section.
Having recently married a Mancunian, Andrew has relocated to the North. With a keen eye for detail, Andrew specialises in building bespoke gardens with extensive experience across all major areas including planting, decking, paving, fencing, brickwork and construction.
Andrew has completed short garden design courses in London and is currently studying for a Postgraduate Diploma with the British Academy of Garden Design. He enjoys offering clients a 360 degree approach from design through to build and maintenance.
He is also a keen cyclist and dreams of one day visiting the wisteria tunnels of Japan.
