Child & Adult Friendly Garden With Sunken Trampoline
Crouch End, North London
“Andy was amazing, he came up with really creative suggestions which significantly contributed to the design and style of the garden.”
To design a build a garden suitable for the whole family, with separate areas for children’s play and outdoor dining.
Designed from scratch, this garden was transformed from an over-grown three-tiered space to a beautiful, high spec garden. The larger end section of the garden was excavated and reduced to make a longer multi-purpose mid-section. Whilst the back section was transformed to a children’s play area – complete with sunken trampoline and hidden sandpit (with bespoke camouflage all-weather cover) – the middle section became an attractive green space complete with yellow belau decked seating area. New polar-white K-Rend walls with black limestone capping, were erected comprising two new flights of midnight black limestone steps and an integrated yellow belau hardwood bench.
An artificial lawn was laid and the planting scheme followed an on-trend foxgloves, lupins and vibernum theme. The fences were painted with Cuprinol Garden Shades in ‘Wild Thyme’ and ‘Urban Slate’.
Andy was amazing, he came up with really creative suggestions which significantly contributed to the design and style of the garden. As the garden evolved, he was always thinking about new ideas that would make it even better (which they did!) and was really knowledgeable about textures and materials as well as colours that would work best. The end result was better than anything we had imagined – we couldn’t recommend Andy enough, he knows everything ‘garden’ and design there is to know, and on top of that, is a really good guy.
